How to Conduct a 30 Mts Fly Assessment in AssessPro

1. Install App: Download and install the SmartSpeed app on an iPhone or iPad.

2. Login: Enter the designated email and password to log in to the app.

3. Power On: Activate the SMARTSPEED system by pressing the center round button.

4.Identify Master System: Confirm the master system is correctly preset with both CH and ID as 0. This is important to differentiate it from other units as all units appear similar.

5. Bluetooth Connection: Pair the master system with the iPad or iPhone using Bluetooth ID SS-D600717.

6. Placement: For a 30 Mts sprint, Place two cones 10 metres prior to the Master Timing Gate system for the starting position. Place another Timing Gate at the end of the 30 metres

7. Align Laser Beams: Ensure the laser beam emitter and receiver are directly facing each other.(A beeping sound will indicate any misalignment)

8. Sync Device:On the SMARTSPEED app’s homepage, tap the sync icon to synchronise the device. A green tick will appear once syncing is complete.

9. Start Session: Tap "START SESSION" to open the Drill Setup page.

10. Verify Units: Confirm that 2 devices are shown as connected.

11. Select Drill Type: Use the "Drill Types" dropdown to select "Sprints."

12. Select Drill: Choose "30 Mts Fly" from the "Drill" dropdown.

13. Select Profile: Use the "Profile" dropdown to choose the group or individual profiles for the assessment.

14.In AssessPro, click the “Play icon” in the 30 Mts Fly test.

15.Search for the group by its name or click the 'Search Group' button, then click the 'Select' button for the group you are conducting assessments for.

16.Click "Start Test" in the AssessPro web app to initiate the test sequence. Then, in the SMARTSPEED mobile app, click "Start" to begin the assessment.

17. User Options:Once the User Options page opens, do not make any changes; simply tap the Tick button to proceed.

18. Data Collection: The data page will display, allowing athletes to start the test. Ensure athletes proceed in the order pre-set in the app to avoid data mismatch.

19. End Session: After all assessments are complete, tap "STOP." A "Session Ended" popup will appear.

20. Review Results:To view results, tap "View Results" on the Session Ended page. Verify that the cloud upload icon next to the test name is green, indicating successful upload.

21. New Session Setup: If you wish to set up a new session, tap "New Session Setup."

22. Retake Test: To retake the test, select "Restart Session."

23. Complete Test: In the AssessPro web app, click "Complete Test" to finalize the assessment.

24. Initiate Data Collection: Tap the "Initiate" button few seconds to start data collection.

25. End Test: To conclude the test, click the "Upload and End Test" button.
