How to Conduct 10×6 Shuttle Run Assessment in AssessPro

Step 1: Set up a single Master Timing Gate System at the starting line of a 10-metre track.


Step 2: Place a cone at the 10-metre mark and another cone between the center of the Timing Gate System


Step 3: On the VALD HUB Drill Setup page, ensure the system count is set to "1" if only the master system is active.


Step 4: Select “Free Timing” as the drill type.


Step 5: Choose “6×10 Shuttle Run” from the drill options.


Step 6: Use the "Profile" dropdown to choose the group or individual profiles for the assessment.


Step 7: In the profile selection on the VALD HUB, opt for "Manual."




Step 8:In AssessPro, click the “Play icon” in the 6×10 Shuttle Run row


Step 9: Search for and select the desired group.



Step 10: Initiate the test by clicking "Start Test" in AssessPro, then "Start" on the VALD HUB.


Step 11: On the User Options page, confirm settings with the "Tick Icon."



Step 12: Instruct the athlete to complete 3 sets, starting and ending at the initial timing gate.Click “SET” to activate the system.


Step 13: Post each athlete’s completion, prepare the system for the next participant by selecting "Set."

Step 14: Conclude the assessment by selecting "STOP" and “confirm” the end.




Step 15: Click "View Result" to open the results page, then select "Assessment" to view the session results.



Step 16: Check the cloud upload status; a green icon indicates successful upload.(Red icon indicates uploading)


Step 17: Finalise the test in AssessPro by selecting "Complete" followed by after a few seconds click "Initiate."


Step 18: Review the displayed data, then click "Upload and End Test" to finalise the session.

Step 19: Power down the Timing Gate System by long-pressing the round button.
