Step 1: Go to ATIUM Sports mobile app
Open your ATIUM Sports mobile app.
Step 2: Select the Athlete
Tap the Report Injury button in the home page.
Select the injured athlete
Step 3: Enter Training Status
In this section, report the current status of the participant in training or competition by selecting one of the following options:
Full training & competition
Modified training or competition (Incase of recovering from injury)
No training or competition (Athlete not available for training)
Step 4: Select the Type of Problem
On the next page, choose the type of problem related to the injury or health issue.
Acute Injury
Sudden injuries caused by a specific incident or immediate impact.
Examples:
Hamstring Strain: A sudden pull or tear in the back of your thigh, often occurring during activities like sprinting or jumping.
Ankle Sprain: Twisting or rolling your ankle, causing immediate pain, swelling, and difficulty walking.
Overuse Injury
Injuries that develop over time due to repetitive movements or stress on a specific part of the body.
Examples:
Tendonitis: Inflammation of a tendon, commonly occurring in athletes who perform the same motion repeatedly, such as runners or swimmers.
Stress Fractures: Tiny cracks in bones caused by repeated impact or overuse, often seen in long-distance runners or dancers.
Other Injury
Injuries that do not fit into the categories of acute or overuse, often related to chronic conditions or non-sport-related issues.
Examples:
Chronic Back Pain: Persistent pain in the lower back that can be caused by muscle strain, disc problems, or other spinal issues.
Illness
Health problems affecting various body systems beyond just bones and muscles, including issues related to respiratory, digestive, neurological, psychological, or social health.
Examples:
Respiratory Issues: Conditions like asthma that impact breathing and respiratory function.
Digestive Problems: Issues such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) affecting digestion and gastrointestinal health.
Neurological Conditions: Disorders like migraines or epilepsy that affect the nervous system.
Psychological Disorders: Mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, or stress-related conditions.
Social Problems: Issues affecting social well-being, like difficulties in personal relationships or social isolation.
Step 5: Specify the Area of Injury
Specify the exact area of injury. (You can select the injury location by turning on and choosing the body part on the image.)
If it's a localised injury, specify whether it is on the left or right side.
Add any comments related to the injury.
Step 6: Choose the Activity That Led to the Injury
On the next page, select the activity that may have led to the reported injury.
Step 7: Choose the Location of the Injury
Choose the location where the health problem occurred (e.g., on the field, in the gym, etc.).
Step 8: Verify and Submit
Verify all the entered details and ensure everything is accurate.
Once confirmed, click Submit to report the Injury.
Once submitted the injury report is stored and the notification of the injury reported will reach the Medical team for further diligence
