Strength and Conditioning Scheduling with ATIUM:

ATIUM has made strength and conditioning (S&C) scheduling easier on its platform, offering several benefits for coaches, athletes, and support staff. Here are some key advantages of S&C scheduling with ATIUM:

  • Efficient Session Planning: The S&C Coach can use ATIUM to schedule sessions for teams and individual athletes. This allows for organized and structured training programs.

  • Enhanced Communication: The technical and tactical coaches, sports scientists, and medical teams working with the athletes can have a thorough understanding of the planned sessions and the prescribed load. This promotes collaboration and ensures everyone is aligned towards achieving high performance.

  • Extensive Data Bank: ATIUM contains a data bank of 5000 workouts, providing a wide range of exercise options for the S&C Coach to choose from when scheduling sessions.

  • Flexible Timeframes: Sessions can be planned for varying timeframes, including one day, weekly, monthly, or custom dates and ranges. This flexibility allows for tailored scheduling based on the specific needs and goals of the athletes.

  • Custom Workouts: The S&C Coach can create their own workouts and exercises, which will remain available in their environment for future use by the team. This customization ensures that the training programs align with the specific requirements of the athletes.

  • User-Friendly Interface: The S&C Coach can easily navigate through ATIUM's user interface to schedule sessions. By clicking on the create button or selecting a specific date on the calendar, the coach can initiate the session planning process.

  • Goal Setting: The coach can choose from pre-defined primary and secondary goals or set custom goals for each session. This allows for a targeted approach towards improving specific aspects of athlete performance.

  • Duration and RPE Selection: The coach can specify the duration of the proposed session and select the appropriate rating of perceived exertion (RPE) from a scale. These details help in planning the session intensity and duration accurately.

  • Detailed Session Editor: In the schedule editor page, the coach can access options for goals, warm-ups, main session, cool down, and monitoring tests. This detailed editor ensures comprehensive planning and execution of each session.

  • Various Session Creation Options: ATIUM provides multiple options for creating sessions. The coach can make session notes, upload files, or choose a simple session or tool session from the extensive exercise library. Each option offers different functionalities and benefits for both coaches and athletes.

In the session creation process, ATIUM offers different options to cater to the coach's preferences and requirements. These options include:

  • Create Session (Notes): The coach can choose to make notes for the training

session. However, it's important to note that when selecting this option, the gym load data and distance data                 templates will not be available in the athlete's mobile app. This option is suitable for providing written                              instructions, explanations, or any additional information related to the session.

  • Upload File: The S&C Coach can select the file upload option and choose a file from their local drive to be shared with the athletes. The uploaded file will be visible to the athlete in their mobile app. However, the template for data ingestion from the athlete's side will not be available. The athlete can still choose a template from the sports science library and manually fill in the data, such as the load lifted and reps performed, with the corresponding workout titles.

  • Create Session (Simple): This option allows the coach to schedule the session and choose workouts and exercises from their local data bank. When selecting the Simple session option, the coach can schedule the session with rest intervals between exercises. Once the session is created, the athlete will have a template with exercise names and sets, allowing them to seamlessly capture the weight lifted. Both the coach and the athlete will be able to visualize progress through the available dashboards.

  • Create Session (Tool): With this option, the coach can select the databank of ATIUM and their own databank. The coach can schedule the session by choosing workouts from these data banks, and the athletes will have the option to fill in data through the mobile app. This option provides flexibility in workout selection and allows for easy data capture by the athletes.

These session creation options in ATIUM ensure that coaches can choose the most suitable method for planning sessions, considering factors such as note-taking, file sharing, exercise selection, and data capture. This versatility helps streamline the session planning process and facilitates effective communication between coaches and athletes.

  • Location Selection: The coach can specify the training location, such as a gym, ground, swimming pool, or any other relevant place. This allows for accurate tracking of training environments and facilities.

  • Submission and Finalization: Once the coach has planned the session, including exercise selection, rest intervals, descriptions, and objectives, they can submit the session for finalization. This ensures that the planned session is ready for implementation.

By leveraging the S&C scheduling features of ATIUM, coaches can optimize training programs, ensure effective communication with support staff, and monitor athlete progress more efficiently. The platform's user-friendly interface and comprehensive functionality contribute to streamlining strength and conditioning management, ultimately enhancing athlete performance.
